What has happened?
These are the faults we are called about most often. Here is what you can check yourself while you wait.
The power is out
If your neighbours have no power either, the fault is in the grid. Contact your grid company. If only you have lost power, book an electrician.
The RCD keeps tripping
Switch off all circuits and reset the RCD. Then switch the circuits on one at a time. If the RCD still trips, book an electrician.
The fuse keeps blowing
This points to an overload or a short circuit. Do not force the fuse back on.
Burning smell or sparks
Switch off the main switch if you can do it safely. Do not touch the socket or the switch.
A socket or light switch is not working
Loose or hot sockets and switches can start a fire. Do not use them until they are checked.
Cooker or oven has no power
The fault is often in the fuse board or the connection, not in the appliance. We find it.

What does an emergency electrician cost?
Call-out and fault finding are free, also at night. When we have found the fault, you get a fixed price for the repair, including materials and VAT. If you say yes, we start. If you say no, it costs 0 DKK.
Is the call-out really free?
Yes. You do not pay for travel, parking or fault finding. This is also true if you say no to the repair.
How fast can you get to me?
Usually within 1-2 hours. We give you a time on the phone.

What do I do while I wait?
Switch off the circuit or the appliance that has the fault. Do not touch loose wires. If you see smoke or fire, call 112.
